Hamsaaya Consultancy applied for the social business grant announced by the UNIDO in July 2024. Hamsaaya Consultancy submitted the grant application as lead applicant and GN Global Impact Foundation (GIF), Korea as financial grantors to support in the matching fund to the project. Hamsaaya Consultancy signed Letter of Intent with Sustainable Tourism Foundation, Pakistan for the technical support and consultancy services for the eco-tourism project.
Hamsaaya Consultancy proposed an eco-tourism social business in District Tharparkar, Sindh Pakistan to the UNIDO grant call. The Hamsaaya Consultancy will develop an eco-tourism resort in District Tharparkar to promote sustainable tourism in the area and support to improve the potential tourism sites/attractions and improve the tourism value chain to ensure the eco-friendly interventions and professional services.
Assessment Objectives:
To assess the existing facilities/attraction/activities in the district and identify the tourism potentials attractions/activities of District Tharparkar, Sindh Pakistan.
Specific Assessment Objectives:
- Visit the existing famous tourist’s spots and assess the attractions/spots/activities
- 2- Collect the data of existing tourism facilities i.e. accommodations, food and activities
- 3- Identify the potential tourism attractions/spots/activities
- 4- Collect the data of tourism flow and peak tourism seasons,
- 5- Assess the establishment of potential eco tourism resorts, 6- Identify the potential tourism value-chain.
