Ghar Ka Zaiqa

Good Neighbors· Long-Standing Client

Highlights

For long-standing client Good Neighbors, Hamsaaya designed and delivered the Ghar Ka Zaiqa program to give underprivileged women a real, ongoing income — not a one-off handout.

We ran a five-day capacity-building training covering cooking techniques, food and business management, and health and hygiene practices for six women beneficiaries and two cart handlers, then helped establish two fully equipped central kitchens where three women each now work daily.

Beyond the kitchen, we built out Ghar Ka Zaiqa's marketing and digital presence — a website and social media platforms for online orders, plus Foodpanda onboarding — and supplied four months of hygiene and packing material support so the food leaving those kitchens meets a consistent standard.

Both kitchens are now fully operational. The current focus is growing daily sales and marketing reach, with plans to expand Ghar Ka Zaiqa into additional areas to build more women's economic independence.
